INCubatoredu gives students the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship in a real way while they develop their own startup company. Each class is supported by a coach or mentor to guide student teams through the program and assist with tasks related to washable feet insoles, or social applications; students have ample opportunities to test out ideas while employing lean management principles.

Students are taught to enhance their concepts as they progress through the program. This involves conducting market research, idea and customer explorations, prototype building, and pitches. This helps to develop collaboration, communication, problem-solving abilities, and also teaches students how to quickly adapt to change.

At the end of every year, teams participate in INCubatoredu National Pitch to compete for seed funding for their new ventures. The opportunity offers teams an opportunity to network for investors, as well as insightful advice from business leaders This event is known for its shark tank-style pitch sessions.
